Context

This was the start of my career in tech, right after switching from law. As Project Manager, I led a multidisciplinary team of 8 engineers and designers across 20+ client engagements — corporate and NGO websites, e-commerce, real estate platforms, and a neo-banking mobile app. It’s also where I picked up UX/UI skills and taste directly on the job, working hands-on with designers across a wide range of product types.

Goal

Deliver a high volume of distinct client projects reliably — without the inconsistency that usually comes with running many parallel engagements — while helping less-defined ideas from business owners become buildable, user-centred products.

What I did

  • Conducted in-depth interviews with business owners to translate ambiguous ideas into clear requirements and user journeys
  • Implemented the ShapeUp methodology to structure development cycles, increase team autonomy, and keep delivery predictable across projects
  • Ran user-centric design workshops to surface insights and prioritise features with genuine impact
  • Negotiated priorities and managed stakeholder expectations across clients with differing goals and resource constraints
  • Established consistent practices for requirements, design systems, and QA that held up across 20+ varied projects
